Pure Technologies Wins Corporate Reporting Award

Pure Technologies has won the Award of Excellence for Corporate Reporting in Small Cap/Venture from the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants, which recognizes companies for financial reporting, corporate governance disclosure, sustainable development reporting and electronic disclosure.

Pure’s Chief Financial Officer Karen Keebler received the award on behalf of the company at the awards gala held at the Toronto Congress Centre on Nov. 21, 2012.

Canada’s Corporate Reporting Awards are the most prestigious and coveted national awards for corporate reporting.

For more than sixty years, the Corporate Reporting Awards have recognized the best reporting models in the country. They encourage organizations to strive to be the best by learning about best practices and demonstrating leadership.

“The awards program encourages participants to look for new ways to strengthen their relationships with stakeholders. The valuable feedback from the judges combined with a review of the winning models can help participants make a strong reporting effort even better,” says Kevin Dancey, FCA, president and CEO, Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants.
